wonderland

I haven't seen it yet, but the images -- and trailer -- from this film are absolutely incredible. I'm working on a piece that's based off the book, and I really like it. I'm thinking about using a similar feel and theme for several of my April poems, kind of changing it up and seeing how you can interpret the story in different ways.

What do you think?

I think that the trailer and pictures are amazing, I haven't watched the movie yet, but I really want to :D
By April poems do you mean NaPoWriMo?

@Kirthi: yes, I do. :)

Alice in Wonderland was half of my inspiration for my new novel, so I really want to see this.

I have just seen the movie yesterday and i have to say it had pretty good graphics and they did a really good job but it is not what i had expected and i was somewhat dissapointed!!

The movie is very visually stunning, but, overall, I was disappointed in the actual movie.

I expected so much more.

This is Christina :)
It's a really really good movie as the director interpreted it but there are a great amount of changes that you will observe if you take a close look at the book versus the movie...the Almost Alice soundtrack is really good though :)

This is the movie I most want to see this year, and I still haven't seen it. Good luck with your poems!

@hondagrl80860 + Medical Librarian: I'm sorry to hear that. I hope that if I ever see it, I enjoy it more than you did.

@Starfire8: Hi! Thanks for stopping by.

@Myrna + Jessie: Thanks!

@geekspawn: That's really cool - if that's the inspiration, your novel will turn out so well.

@Erin: me too. Once you've seen it - you'll probably end up seeing it before me - tell me how it was! I've heard mixed reviews.

I saw the movie the day it came out and I think it sucked. I'm sorry my own opinion, the movie has it's own directions from the old movie and the book. The older movie is more better but the new one has more imagination. So I think that it's about 1 and a half star.
