Submitting?

So I know there's a lot of this going around since we've just finished poeming for April and are looking for places to submit. I've been hunting and looking through others' posts about this and I've only found one journal that interests me.

Are there any lit mags/journals that you would recommend? (Preferably w/o a submission fee...and email submission is preferred but I'll do hardcopy submitting too.)

Maya,

I have enjoyed your poems this month! Just discovered you, through a link from somewhere (now lost to me ...).

Submissions: Wichita Falls Literature and Art Review, published twice yearly, and they pay a small bit for your work. http://www.wflar.org/

Pay is 2 copies of magazine -- I am poetry editor and would be pleased to receive your submission.

I know this is off topic- but i don't get it, how can you publish your own book when you are only a kid, and don't have an agent etc.?
I was just wondering because i have wanted to publish a book for a long time- i've even written one i just don't know how- it would be great if you could let me know sometime! Thanks!
